Shamaya “Bella” Oberlton, a Temple University alumna, turned a home cooked idea into Philly’s newest egg roll destination. What began as a small effort to support her mother’s chemotherapy treatments has grown into Rock N Rolls—a brick-and-mortar takeout spot, a food truck, and a catering service. Known for both savory and sweet creations, each roll carries the love and inspiration of her late mother, Elvita. With community at the core, Oberlton continues to give back, supporting youth programs and spreading joy one handcrafted roll at a time.

Rock N Rolls Rolls Into Holme Avenue

Philadelphia’s favorite egg roll brand is going brick-and-mortar! Shamaya “Bella” Oberlton, who started Rock N Rolls from her home in 2016, is opening her first takeout-only location at 2903 Holme Ave. To celebrate, she’s giving away sampler packs to the first 100 customers on June 1 and donating funds from opening weekend to Big Hustle Athletics, supporting youth sports in the community. Guests can enjoy both savory and sweet creation from her signature Crab Cake, Cheesesteak.

Rock N Rolls Rolls Into Northeast Philly

The grand opening celebration on June 1 will give the first 100 customers free egg rolls, with a portion of weekend sales donated to Big Hustle Athletics, supporting youth sports in Northeast Philly. Committed to honoring her late mother and giving back to the community, Oberlton is also expanding her team to create job opportunities for ex-convicts and continue the mission of serving flavorful, handcrafted egg rolls with heart, will offer takeout Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
